Thanks mate. It has a 406 SBC with 10.8:1 comp, old fuellie heads, crow solid cam 246@50 .490 lift. Made 450hp 500 ft/lbs on the engine dyno on pump fuel. Best time so far is 11.51 @117. At the moment i am sorting out a new transmission/converter combo. It has a powerglide and a 4300 TCE stall.

Recently at the Nostalgia Nationals at Heathcote I had to retire early as the motor was running on 7 cylinders and the converter wasn't flaring up very well. Turned out the valve guides were worn and the valves weren't seating. Still went 12.1 @117mph though.

Looking for a low 11 when the engine is back together and the transmission works correctly.
