CAVOA held its 13th Annual Darling Harbour Charity Display this weekend on Pyrmont Bridge. Over 40 Chrysler’s attended and were parked atop Pyrmont Bridge for the day. It was quite a novel experience being able to drive up onto the pier and park our cars, with 1000’s of people wandering by all day.
One of the absolute standouts of the show would have to have been the immaculate black Charger which is a dead ringer for the one in Steve McQueen’s legendary movie Bullit! Every single part on this car is genuine and brand new, right down to the battery which had the ‘Mopar’ logo on it. An amazing car indeed and great to see it out getting driven.
Whilst not looking like anything special to Mr & Mrs Joe blow, this 100% original E49 sixpack charger was the most valueable car at the show by a long shot! Apparently these original E49’s fetch upwards of 200k!
Thanks to the Chrysler and Valiants Owners Association (
CAVOA) for the great day out, shall be there next year without a doubt.
