Thats true, but who wants any stress thats not required, I reckon any release of boost to atmosphere unless its out the exhaust is a bit of a stupid idea. Not only are you confusing your ECU into thinking its got more air then it does (which can create all sorts of dramas), but ur also getting rid of all the boost that your turbo has just made. if your gonna do anything run a bypass valve back into your intake after your air flow meter so it doesnt confuse your ECU. Thats the most efficient and best way to do it without drawing any attention to yourself with a big turbo sneeze.
