Brothers 1967 Chevy Impala Completely Written Off

Hi all i thought i would share this news with you, my brother has a
beautiful 1967 Chevy Impala, but not anymore because he had it
parked outside on the street and some dickhead in a VY Comodore
was coming down the street, dont know whether he was speeding
or not, but apparently he didnt slow down and another car was
coming the other way, so he had two choices, (1) Run into the car
coming infront of him, (2) Swerve to to miss the car and hit my brothers
car parked on the side of the road, well of course the stupid faggot
had to swerve instead of hitting the car coming the other way and
ran straight up the ass of it, he completely destroyed right hand side
of the back of the car pushing it in and destroying everything.

I am extremely ****ed off, when my brother heard the crash he ran outside to see what happened and the idiot was trying to drive off up the street in his VY Commodore, so my brother chased after him, luckily he didnt get very far due to the damage to the front of his car, my brother is very upset, he bought the car for a few grand when it was old and had a ****ty paint job on it, and he and his friend painted it black and put red flames up the side of it and on the bonnet, he was planning on putting a LS chev big block in it, but not anymore because the car is completely ruined. Me and my brother have attended heaps of car shows we have
attended them for years we have been to The Ultimate Burnout Challenge
every single time, we have been to the Easternats, Springnats heaps of times and once to the Summernats, me and my brother are strong supporters and lovers of the Austrlian car scene just like you guys are
and i am shattered to see such a lovely old muscle car ruined because
some idiot was probably on drugs and wasnt paying any attention.

And to make things worse the idiot that hit the car has got no insurance
my brother has paid $1000 to speak to a solicitor try and get some money
to pay for the damage off this guy, but the guy claims he has no assets
so i dont know how he is going to pay for the car either.

And to make things even worse the bloke pushed my brothers car into
his girlfriends brothers car, they all live at the same house, so aswell
as complete ****ing on car he also damaged the front of the Chev as
well as damaging the back of his girlfriends brothers car.

Anyway here are the pictures it make me very sad and angry.

thats very disapointing to hear mate! really makes you feel sick when these dumbsh1ts go and do something like that and get away not paying for anything because they are drug fvcked morons!!!!! hope he manages to get some money out of the basterd and maybe fix the old chev

mate thats really s h i t s me as this has happened to me in the past had a drink driver hit me head on it was assessed as a write off but paid $2700 just to get the floor repaired ,the f@#ker had no insurance either til this day the **** head still owes me $8000 taken him to court twice for seizing his property got nothing
and 7yrs of bull**** its not fair at all where,s the f@#ken justice in this country

having been in a similar situation nov 2010 a lady hit me with no insurance, so i sent a letter of demand to her for damages to my car, gave her 14's to payor i'd take her to court, now,

did the police arrive on the scene?
did you get the contact details of the other car that was missed?

this all helps if you have to take him to court?


back in 2002 a mate had his brand new xr8 written off and the guy had no insurance or accets, so he took him to court where he has to pay 100 a week till the market value of the car was payed for

That really sux , some people just dont give a faaark.
a good reason to have full comp insurance ourselves so our cars can get fixed and let the isurance company chace them for the money.
