battery in boot problems

hi this is my first post on here so here we go!!!
i have brought a vb sle it had a 355 in it before i brought it as a rolling shell my problem is the battery is in the boot and there is only one cable from the battery that i would assume goes to the starter but how do u get power to the rest of the car ie ignition... plz explan someone any info would help

when you wire up the car you can pick up power feeds from various places. like the starter motor or alternator etc. if you want give me a buzz.
