the system dont work
i went to a burnout comp at wsid a couple of years back. i came 4th in a genuine clubsport wagon one of 33 made. i will say it wasnt a good effort from my behalf and i got a spot. even i didnt agree wiv it. rhynos came second. dats when i thought its not judged right then. how could i have come so close to a blown insane torana, and a vx calais took the top spot. there was a guy there in a green liteace v8 van that in my opinion did much better than me. even he didnt get a spot. thats where i believe you need time as a judge and a big task to complete, with a tick sheet. a few judges and record the lot. you got to just look at the big sports to see what sort of judge they have. the fairer it gets the bigger it will get. how many guys and girls wont go to a comp where the big hitters are there. how many think you got to be blown to win? if it were an exhibition thats cool, but its a comp
