wtf? only one day? I thought they were going to make it two days and have the one day for the summer burnout fest (earlier in the year)??

Last year was 2 days, how arethey going to be able to fit it all into one day?

yeah i'm not happy. i think it might be from some of the old farts around here that complained. I HATE OLD POEPLE!!!!!

i don't think it will be as big cause they put it down to one day.

It's kind of sad that people complain about events that i'd assume bring in quite a few tourist $ for the local community....

Perhaps if they were to find a location that was a little further out of town, then there wouldn't be the hassles of anyone complaining?

the local council has never supported car events in wagga after what happened when we had summernats here. Things went out of hand. hunderds packed the main street, to watch street racing. People layed oil on the main street to do burnouts etc. and the police were powerless. Thats how it went to Canberra. I forget what it was called back then. It was before i was alive.

Never realised that summernats started in wagga. Must have been 20+ years ago?

Has arby had talks with the local cops to try and work out a nice comprimise??
