They do end up with lots of "speed holes" as time goes by.
Here's my free tip although everyone probably knows this already... Do the brake lines before the engine goes back in cause doing it after the motor's back in place sucks big time.

Good to see it progressing Nathan.

How big a chunk needs to come out of the rail? (I had about 13-14 inches that needed re-manufacturing in the Charger)

You going to leave the MSD and coil in the bay or move them under the dash?

Boy somebody had some fun with a drill in you bay mate - more holes than I've ever seen before.

What is the VH in the background of teh engine removal photo?

Hey Nathan,
You going to stick with the power steering? The old Valiant Power steering is a pretty big power thief and is so light you get almost no road feel. About the only advantage it has is when you do a skid as the steering can be a bit heavy at lower road speeds (depending on width of front tyre).

Hey Neale,

Where you been hiding? Work must be chaotic!

Not Sure about the MSD or Coil Yet, For some reason having them under the dash just does not sit well with me! I Rather keep something that can Give me a Hell of a Shock outside of the cabin.

Yeh Inner Guard looks like swiss Cheese, But thankfully they are getting welded up.

Power Steering should be Removed as I cannot run the Pulley on the front of the balancer any more (E49 Romac type)

The VH Charger in the Background is a 770 with a 318. It Belongs to Charles from Mopar Market, and im sad to say this...sounds alot tuffer than your 360!

Yeh work has been a bit full on - just landed back in Sydney last night.

Charles (VH770) isn't he - seems to have spent a fair bit of tme and money on his - sounds like a good car - was he helping you?

New mufflers have changed the tone a fair bit but the big difference will come when I go a much bigger cam - need $$ though.

Yes he has, because he gets the parts cheaper from the states haha/

He helped me pull the engine and box, I need to find some time when my car leaves so i can help him get the VG Operational.

I can possibly get you a Mopar Purple Shaft for the engine ;)

g'day Nathan,

Is the Val on the back of the towie because she is off for some paint /panel chassis rail work?

Was thinking if she is going to get a lick of paint anyway (in her original white) have you thought about doing something simple to give her a bit more visual impact. What would look really good would be the bumble bee stripe across the boot and on rear quarters - done in a dark blue maybe with the hemi or Mopar logo. Another alternative would be the R/T stripe on the front guards like on the chargers. Both simple to do and would really set her off a bit more. Done before the clear is applied probably wouldn't cost a lot extra.

Just a thought

Cheers
