Convertor Runout is going to be checked, as it is a step in the instructions heheheh
its going to be an interesting conversion, cause at the same time. Im modding the carby and manifold to be mounted east west to help with fuel distribution and even out Cylinders 3 & 4
Sorry mate, Just assumed everyone would use a 265 as the starting point. (Just realised you are using a 245)
So, 274ci is 265+60thou.
from a few people i was speaking to, they recommended the 245 as a starting point, cause the rod's won't be as stressed as a 265 set, also spare engines are always a plus as no one wants them :D
I have a few in backup.
Right Now The Bottom end is built to The Specs they used on the Pacer Engines, but the clearances are close to E49 Specs.
The Plan for the new Cylinder Head is:
Make Chamers 62-63cc for 11:1 Compression
Largest Valves Possible
LPG Seats
New Valve Springs
Single Peice Flat Stainless Valves (Non Dished)
Port
Polish
Flow
Port Matched to Manifold which will also be opened Up
Good Valve Retainers
Harland Sharp Roller Rockers
With the New 904 and 3.55's in the LSD Disc Brake Diff, It should be nice on teh street, especially with the larger Camshaft that is going in.
