Default 360 Q's

All right some questions

Are you thinking of the bumblebee stripe - looks very tough on the long boot?
Wheels?
What are you getting done to the 360?
Are you lowering her?

In my humble opinion give the boot spoiler a miss - not sure it can add to the lines of the car. Have seen some darts with front lip spoilers that can look real good.

Keep us posted - love seeing the progress.
Funny you should mention the stripe over the bum, I'd planned from the start to do that, in fact I chose the vinal color first then matched the charcole paint to it cause I figured it would be easier to find a paint to match the vinal then the other way round but not I'm not so sure about the bumble bee stripe, I think they've been done so much I might just leave it bee. (no pun intended)

I'll post more info about the wheels soon...........

The 360 has been completely rebuild using all the good stuff, It now has a stroker crank giving it a displacement of 408ci. Unfortunately I don't have the cam specs infront of me but we opted for something that would start making power from about 1800rpm since I'm running the stock converter. The heads are heavily ported J's and the headers are pacemakers. Perched ontop of the M1 is a EFI hardware 1000cfm throttle body. The injectors are supercharged commy ones off ebay.

Yes I have lowered it, I'll do a proper post on that as well.

I should have explained the spoiler idea better, more like a nascar flap than a spoiler, as such. I'm not a fan of the modern shopping trolly handle you see on cars now days and I don't think the work well on muscle cars. (I don't even like the stock spoilers on most mid 70's US muscle cars) I've attached a pic of the style of spoiler I was thinking of.

Default Brakes, wheels & Dash

I've dynomatted the cabin, firewall and the boot as well. Its way over priced for what it is but does a great job and is easy as pie to apply. (see pics)
Also got my shifter, just a B&M jobbie. I wanted to get a
Hurst
because of the history between Chrysler/Dodge and Hurst but this one was too good a price to turn up.
I've also been doing the landcruiser front brake upgrade; I've got a pick from early moc up and one with it finished. It’s a relatively easy swap that gives Val owners a 4 piston calliper at the front for about 70 bucks a side, gotta love that! The booster and master cylinder I’m using is an aftermarket one that clears the valve covers without the need for an offset bracket. (However I did need to make a minor relief in the valve cover. Read: Hit it with a big hammer)

Wheels should be ready soon. When I started this project I had billet dreams like so many of us but as things have progressed I’ve started to lean more towards a stealth street fighter look.
So the wheels I’m running are stock 16’s that have been re-hooped. So now they are 17x8 for the front and 17x9 on the rear.

I've posted a pic from the new dash insert I've done, it sits in the factory location. The gauges are TPI. It's coated by in a finish called brushed iron, done by a company called Mad Coatings. Basically it’s a graphic over a base coat this is the web site: http://www.mad-coatings.com/ they lots of carbon fiber look stuff but that doesn’t really suit this car. I’ve also had the original arm rests done in the same coating.

Default Extra Pics

Here's the extra pics from the monologue above, You can see in the brake mock up pics the CRS drop spindles.
In the complete brake coversion photo the tubular UCA's, tubular radius rods and Koni's are all installed.

The dash ended up being plastic, the mdf is only mock up.

Didn't even know that there were different sizes. I know the lux ones and landy ones were different, is that what your talking about?
I believe the Hilux ones are a bit better but the place I went only had cruiser ones there.
