Default Project VH

Hi All,

Im Scott, I came across this forum after detailing CYCOV8.
Then after browsing i noticed i know HYPO_75, hes probably wondering who i am. Im Aarons mate.

Anyway i have a project VH Commodore. I picked it up off ebay about 6 months ago for $800. It is dead straight with absolutly no rust at all and all the chrome trims are like new! It only had the 202 in it so that has been ripped out and i picked up a complete 308 i will work the tits off.
The car will be for Show/Street/Strip
I havent done much on it for a while but at the moment the 202 has been ripped out and sold and im about to send the 308 away to get worked. Once it gets back ill be painting the block the same colour as the car (Not brown, LOL it will be a nice Purple) and adding all the chrome parts, alternator, manifold, carbies etc.. Then ill be trial fitting the custom radiator, trans cooler etc. to make sure it all fits before the engine bay gets smoothed out and the bodywork gets done so it can be sent away to get sprayed, not 100% sure on the colour yet but most likely will be a nice purple.

I havent taken any pics for a while as im moving in a few weeks and i will have a much bigger garage/workshop area at my new place to really get stuck into this thing but here is some pics from when i first got the car:

Ripping the 202 out:

And here is my best mates car that has inspired me:

^^ It will be featured in Street Commodore in October and also Street Machine a few months after.

Cheers,
Scott

Not 100% sure yet mate, I am currently in talks with a few engine builders, It will just be a worked 308, i have some money to blow on it so hopefuly she will get up and boogie i was going to supercharge it but the misses quickly disagreed to that.
