Default VK Racer

I have been slowly building up a VK commodore that I use only for drags.

As I am on a limited budget I have done all the work myself and used mainly secondhand parts so far.

I have changed the motor over to the 3800 v6 and added a sc14 supercharger running 12 PSI intercooled and 35 hp NOS
the car has been striped down till only the bits we needed were left.

Anyway the reson I have joined is I need some help with traction as I dont have any off the line and the car spins the wheels into 3rd gear.

If anyone could help me out with ideas on how to "fix" that on a limited budget that would be good.

Sounds cool, would love to see pics and know what kind of power you're getting from the 3800.
Whats the rear suspension in a VK? Are you running Drag radials, I've got some mates who swear by them and I've seen a few guys on here give them big wraps as well.

I'm sure some of the commy experts will be able to help you with any oem suspension stuff might give you better hook up.
I like the way you think in terms of making factory and second hand stuff work better. I love a trawl through a wreckers or swap meet finding stuff to butcher to make work.

why not just source some second hand slicks? Have seen them on ebay for 150 to 200, they'd definitely solve the traction issues but more than likely break weaker driveline bits......
