seems someone is not that excited that a ford has joined the forum

i'm not really interested in keeping up with anyone to be honest, i just do what i do and don't really think to much about what others have got, you get cuaght in that trap you'll be a very broke man

there is always someone out there thats faster

There was a little stirring re ford vs holden here the other day (all in good fun) and is just spilling over here mate.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, what times have you done in your corty??

i have not run the car yet, it's still not completely finished, there is a couple of small things i need to do before i put the car on the track....

should be only a few months off now, one of the biggest problems i have is our track is a 800km trip as well..

480 plus rwhp in a car that iam guessing weighs somewhere between 1250kg and 1350kg should be good to see mid 9s or better

that dyno run was literly done 15min after the engine's first start up, with some decent fuel (sunoco or a vp racing fuel) some more timing and a decent tune on the carb and a few other little issues sorted i beleive the engine has around the 540rwhp mark

but even if it never makes anymore power than that, i'm happy with that effort from the engine, and it will be good to get a little track time now..

i'll be happy for it to run into the 10's for the time being..
