Great little P plate car - thought of doing the V8 conversion rather than the 6?

Interesting to see how the 202 Goes with the Inejction, then again the VK's had it...

But the Body looks Immac not to mention the interior!
Im steering towards the injection for something different. I love my carbies, usually hate injection, but its just so much easier clearance/clutter wise to run an injected setup with a blower on the 6.

Body work was done by a friend, he works for Bluegum smash repairs here on the coast, top bloke and is pretty good with the hammer and dolly.

Interior was done by another friend, whinges at me everytime i ask him to do more, keeps saying something about retiring.... haha

Great backdrop and briliant photos there mate.
Yeah its just off reliance drive on the train line side of the road, big open driveway, never looked who owned the joint.

I live up bateau way, but work in hornsby.

Yeah was a good father son type project, did alot of the hard stuff myself, or with help from him. I still remember being out in the cold dark night 1200ing back the hi-fill for the 3rd time at about 11pm the night before it was going to be painted.

Thats my old mans XU-1, now looks like this-

well thats a kind of old photo, is now regoed (since september last year)
Doesnt get it out a whole lot, but always enjoys it when he does.

Im also in the process of building up another 2 door LJ as a track car (super sprints etc) just running out of money really quickly and having dramas with getting people to do things on time. (still a shell atm, but have my motor built on the stand, triple webers, etc just waiting to paint the engine bay... been too cold lately!)

And between me and my old boy, we bought a smashed LC GTR to restore.

so there is no shortage of projects round our joint!

Hey Chris,

Yeh injection Sounds the Goods especially when your toying with the Idea of a Blower or NOS + Turbo (In My Case)

Its lucky that you know people who can help with body and interior, and have an old man that is into it aswell.

Nos+ turbo sounds good, im assuming your going drag style setup with the NOS to help reduce lag off the line?

Ive got a carby toyota blower setup to start me off ( had it to begin with) and just see where i go from there (already have an eatonM45, the motec and the VK injection setup, just need a few more things + money to tune the thing)

Ive been on and off tinkering with cars since I was about 8 or 9. Was always going to be a mechanic, started an aprentiship straight out of year 12, decided there wasnt much else i could really learn being a mechanic by trade, and ended up at uni doing marketing/management/business and working in sales and marketing for a heavy machinery company!

Ah Cool!

Ive got a wet NOS Setup at home, Individual Foggers for Each Runner aswell as a Stinger EMS ECU and Audi RS6 Injectors, I need $$$ to Buy the parts but at the moment, this transmission conversion is killing me haha

I only really got heavily into car's when i got the Val in 2006, Before that I mainly only touched ont he electrical side of Nissan Skylines, Silvias and Audi's

Makes me Love the Val LMAO
