Selling up my auto gear to go back to manual, would prefer to sell out rite but if some one has a quality manual set up may beable to work something out..
Its a built 4l60 has been perfect in my car for the last few years holding up with no drama behind my 408 stroker running 10 sec quarters @ 138mph.. It has just been freshened with a new pump, new second third clutches, high pressure plate for incresed line pressures. The box will be checked and any work completed before sale to be new again..I am expecting to be fine as the mentioned parts were installed less than 300kms of use ago.. Convertor is a built 4000 convertor which has anti balloon plates for forced induction as well as billet parts for added strength. I have receipt for 1299 for the convertor which has also only done under 300km since new.. Reason for sale as i said want to go back to manual and enjoy driving it round corners again..The box has served its purpose and done very well strength wise dispite the knockers of the 4l60 it is spot on.. Chasing $3500 for complete box/convertor, oil cooler and lines this is well under what it all owes me so please no tire kickers.. Have a set of CNC heads from the states was going to use them on a new engine but plans have changed. There a 64.5 cc chamber as the chamber has also been cncd for extra swirl and flow. The heads have stainless 2.02 inlet valves and a 1.57 sodium filled exhaust valves for light weight, better heat exchange,aswell as better for gas or forced induction.. They are fitted with patriot gold dual valve springs good for .650 lift with titanium retainers.These heads are set up and ready to bolt on and enjoy.On a 3.905 bore these heads flow extremely well flowing as follows- .100" 67.2 57.5 .200" 140.4 110.7 .300" 207.8 168.7 .400" 252 212.9 .500" 291.1 240.9 .550" 303.9 248.2 .600" 317.6 252.6 After $2400 less than i paid by the time you include freight etc.. |
