MY XT To Be Raced At Calder May 30th
Well i have finally had my motor all rebuilt again after i done some serious damage to it at Gazzanats in March at Calder park. With the compression too high before i detonated it and the bottom roller bearing came off one of the lifters causing damage. So motor was all rebuilt. Changed pistons so i could run it on pump fuel. Final comp now is 11.0. For some reason it made more hp than before and even lot more torque. It made 650 with my carby and 670 with Zorans 1000 carby. But i am leaving my carby on it at the moment until i get a pro sytems carby for it. It made 540lbs of torque. As the car is still at Zorans workshop i wont be able to go and race it. So Zoran asked me if he could race it it and i said yes. It will be raced on May 30th at Calder on the Friday night for its first meet. Then i will be going 2 weeks later to pick it up. As i know it wont ET cause it needs bigger stall i am hoping for good numbers. It should run 130mph plus. Fingers crossed. So if you know anyone that will be attending this meet could you let them know and see if i can get some photos or video footage of the car. The car in qestion is a red XT falcon with the number plates PROXT. As i am from Tasmania i cant get along to this event thats why i am letting Zoran from Competition Engines race the car for me.

Yes competition engines in springvale. They have built some awsome engines for customers over the years. No CYCO i knew it had to be run on race fuel. My fault. But it should go 130mph. Not worried too much about times cause hasnt got the right convertor in it. When right convertor in it it should go 10.2 or better. Suspension is set up cause car has gone 10.0 before with another motor in it. Sure someone will tell me how it went as i wont be able to attend the meeting.
no worries. I hurt my motor at easternats and been thinking of taking it to those guys. Seeing what your motor puts out i'll go talk to them 4 sure now. R they open sat mornings?

Hurt it at Gazzanats. It had no power there. Was only showing about 400hp. Should be better now though. Pity i wont be able to make it Friday night to see it. Someone will tell me what time it does surely.
