Have a look at a BM 144, 162, 174 (or holley) as i had one on a 308 in a LH in the 90's. It was best motor that i had/ built and i had a few different set up's in it. Cost alot to set up but once i did it the best thing i ever did for a steet car. Once we got it to work it was very steetable unless you are willing to put up with a 5000 stall 12to1 a pig of an idle and just a car that you can't use as you get rid all this and will get a motor that will do the same with 8to1 2800 stall or smaller and a very good idle will run on pump ulp fuel will last longer as no boost no power as most of the time it's driven it is not under boost so its on 8to1 comp instead of 12to1 all the time. You cant /will not bet boost cheap power in the long term once you have a blower you will never go back.That was said to me before i had one now i say it and want to put blower on everthing i can as they make more power for the money.

Well i don't know the hp of it' but it ran 12.4 111mph in my LH in full steet trim but it had MT slicks but that was in the early 90s there was alot more in it we gave up with it as we bought a house. We did run a 10.7 with it in my capri in 2002. The BM set up was sold to operation drag safe and is now on there motor in the red gemini and they have 400HP. But these blowers can only move so much air so they have a HP limit, that's why we now have a 8/71 to suit VN heads and this might be sold soon as i have had it with 308s. Now looking at a steel crank for it. For the cost of one we can build BBC.
