Interesting footage Steve.

I gotta ask, where are the judges located? I would think one at each corner of the track at a minimum.
And why dont they communicate?
Surely one would see the buckets of dirt flying.

Nothing against either car, both KILLER burnouts (as were all in the top 20) but one competitor losing points over another does seem rather strange given the obvious.

do we need more judges ?
eye tests and glasses for some of the judges?
video replays when things are in doubt?
Dunno about any of those suggestions, however it only requires ONE judge to COMMUNICATE to the others that the driver went off the track, and points can be awarded (or deducted) accordingly. Ive seen officials with 2-way radios, they should USE them to their advantage.

I'm wondering what other competitors
think could and should be done to get burnout judging right,
everytime not just most/some of the time
Thats a bit like asking whats better, ford or holden.
Youre never going to find the answer to satisfy all the people all the time unfortunately.
