mate it took me 11hrs towing from sydney to ipswich whioch is bout 20mins from the track. From melbourne you would be looking at a hell of a long drive lol. but definitely worth it if you plan to make the track. You could always camp at mine for the night and we could make off from sydney together.

Yeah that sounds good to me. I am trying to organize 3 people to come with me. Just to share the costs. If i get 3 other people to come with me i am going for sure.

its a long drive from tassie though
