He seemed like a nice fella with you old car struggler, i had a chat to him he mentioned that he didn't expect much as he only just go it going a few weeks ago. The motor had been sittin around for a couple of years ??

Great videos Aj

Anthony the set-up on your Cortina lokks great - it sure does launch hard - well done.

Jeez that VL commodore is weapon isn't it - and looks like a real sleeper as well.

The vl looked like a very scary ride watching it from the staging lanes

Yes, he is a good guy. His running gear was in a HQ Statesman for a while and he was looking for something a bit lighter. When he purchased the tonner the Statesman had been sitting around a while with gearbox damage.

I know he was having a few little problems on Wednesday night but I'm sure he will get on top of it.

The WIERDO plates are off the HQ Statesman, I'm sure there is a story behind them.

Sorry Paul - of course it was you if Adam was having his leisurely cruise down the 1/4.

The Charger had her very first run down the 1/4 at WSID on Saturday with the club day - great experience and now I want more. She ran a 16 to start with but we were only getting 50% throttle so after we sorted that we got a 13.6 with the street tyres and really had major traction issues off the line - 60' time of 2.2. Changed to set of sticky tyres and ran a 12.9. Not too bad for a open diff - guys in know in the club reckon with some tweaking of rear springs etc and a proper diff we should be able to get low - mid 12's out of her. Not in Anthony or Shaun's league though.

mate they are some fantastic times, congrats. I wouldn't be worried about not being in cyco or hypo's league.

thanks mate yeah its not to bad but can and will be better the best 60ft sofar is 1.502 leaveing at only 2000rpm with both front wheel off the track but you can see by the windsor corty theres room for improvement
can't wait untill i sort out the converter an may put a transbrake
